(CNL), to operate the Omni Mount Washington Resort in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire, for another 15 years. CNL has operated the storied resort at the base of beautiful Mount Washington, the highest peak in the Northeast, since 2009.

As part of a multiphase $70 million transformation, the luxury, all-season resort will debut additional terrain for backcountry adventures at the Bretton Woods ski area with the much anticipated addition of lift service to the Mount Stickney area. This expansion will welcome adventurers and families with a step back to a traditional New England skiing experience with the addition of new Glades, T-Bar lift, warming cabin. CNL is also investing in enhanced snowmaking equipment to benefit the Bretton Woods ski area this winter.

The new 2,000-foot Doppelmayr T-Bar will serve the Mount Stickney Glades. The gladed terrain is being expanded and enhanced to open up steeps and rugged trails reminiscent of historic New England ski terrain.

At the top of the new T-Bar near the summit of Mount Stickney, a new 600-square-foot log cabin will feature an exterior stone fireplace as well as a porch for catching rays on warmer days. Inside, a wood stove will warm skiers in between runs.

The next phase of the Mount Stickney expansion for the 2013-2014 season will be aimed at the Nordic skier. Additional Nordic terrain will be added to the already vast network of 100km with new high altitude trails to provide skiers with early and late season terrain.

With the addition of the new T-Bar, log cabin and trails, Bretton Woods will have expanded across three summits, providing skiers with a variety of terrain to match any visitor's desires.
