Tampa, Florida has announced the addition of seven hotels to its
portfolio. The
properties are owned by Wheelock Street Capital, a private real estate
investment firm based in Greenwich, Connecticut and Boston,
Massachusetts. The
new portfolio includes Hampton Inn Atlanta-Perimeter Center, Georgia;
Hilton
Garden Inn Atlanta North/Alpharetta, Georgia; Hampton Inn & Suites
Raleigh/Cary, North Carolina; Homewood Suites Raleigh-Crabtree Valley,
North Carolina; Hampton Inn Charlotte-University Place, North Carolina;
Comfort
Inn Fort Bragg, North Carolina; and Holiday Inn Express Clearwater
East-Icot Center, Florida.
The addition of the Wheelock portfolio follows another management contract signed earlier in the year with a private Georgia-based investment group, which added four more hotels, including the Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale/Plantation, Florida; Hyatt Place Atlanta/Duluth/Johns Creek, Georgia; Hyatt Place Rogers/Bentonville, Arkansas; and Hilton Garden Inn Beaufort, South Carolina.
