Renovation Complete for San Francisco Bay Area Walnut Creek Marriott Hotel
Managed by Windsor Management Services

WALNUT CREEK, CALIF. - July 27, 2012 – The Walnut Creek Marriott hotel, in the heart of Northern California’s East Bay, has completed a stunning renovation, creating a comfortable and stylish escape for its guests.

The update incorporates the Marriott Greatroom concept, designating and designing specific zones for social business, individual time and hotel service. The changes flow into the new A’trio Restaurant and Lounge, which features a small-plate Mediterranean menu and robust wine list.

“We are thrilled to unveil the renovations to our property,” said Norval Nelson, General Manager of the Walnut Creek Marriott  hotel. “The intentional design around specific guest experiences empowered us to create welcoming and functional spaces. Our guests will enjoy our new look paired with the same level of service they have come to expect from us.”

Meticulous attention to detail creates functional, comfortable zones
Incorporating the Marriott Greatroom, the lobby has been divided into specific zones, carefully designed for the guest’s experience in that area. Each zone flows seamlessly into the next to create complementary enclaves.
  • The Social Business Zone promotes socializing, unwinding and celebrating with friends over drinks and food.
  • An Individual Zone offers public privacy with a residential library feeling for a relaxing spot to work out in the open.
  • The At Your Service/Delighted to Service Zone is the customer service hub, offering one place for arrival, departure and other guest services.
Looking down on the lobby atrium from a birds-eye view, the carpet features Walnut tree canopies to create a feeling of soaring treetops. Dark Walnut wood is also incorporated into the A’trio bar, front desk and trim pieces.
