that Nickolas
Hazel has been promoted to General Manager at the Courtyard by Marriott
Danbury. The hotel is located at 3 Eagle Road in Danbury, Connecticut.Mr. Hazel has been with Buffalo Lodging for over 10 years. He has spent the majority of his time working in positions such as Housekeeping, Sales and Front Desk Manager. Until recently, Mr. Hazel has been working as the Assistant General Manager at Homewood Suites Canton hotel for the past 14 months during pre and post opening. Nick is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University, where he earned a BS in International Hospitality and Tourism Management. He currently resides in Danbury, Connecticut. “Nick has proven himself to be an outstanding asset to our North East team,” stated Kimberly Tobias, Vice President of Operations for Buffalo Lodging Associates. “He has a great understanding of this hotel and the surrounding market and is well-respected by everyone on staff. We wish him continued success in this new role,” added Tobias. Located at the entrance of the Commerce Business Park accessible to I-84. The 125-room hotel renovated with Courtyard’s “Refreshing Business” makeover in 2010. All guest rooms were completely renovated to include flat screen televisions, complimentary wireless internet access, and remote printing capabilities via PrinterOn. The property also features the signature GoBoardTM in the lobby. Packed with local information, maps, weather, and news, business and sports headlines, guests can navigate using the touch screen to find restaurants, local attractions and directions. The Bistro offers higher quality, healthier menu options for breakfast; and light evening fare, including snacks, wine and beer so guests can unwind.
