McLean, Va. – July 25, 2012 – Hilton Worldwide today announces the appointment of Larry Feeback as the general manager of Embassy Suites Washington, DC Downtown. In his new role, Feeback will oversee the day-to-day operations and management of the 318-unit hotel located just minutes from historic Georgetown and trendy Dupont Circle in the nation’s capital. He will report to Ted Ratcliff senior vice president operations east, Hilton Worldwide. “Larry understands the importance of tourism to our nation’s capital,” said Ratcliff. “His strong operational background paired with his passion for details and providing exceptional guests experience will be an asset to the hotel and destination.” Most recently, Feeback held the position of resident manager of the 1,070-room Washington Hilton, where he led the executive committee in exceeding benchmarks and oversaw the quality and service brand standards for the hotel. Feeback began his Hilton hospitality career in 1993 at Hilton Southfield in Michigan as director of front office operations. Climbing the ladder of success, he became hotel manager in 1999 before becoming general manager of the Doubletree Hotel Detroit Metropolitan Airport in 2001. In 2006 he headed to Washington, DC as resident manager of Washington Hilton, a position he has enjoyed for the past six years. Feeback has been and will continue to be active in the local business community and civic organizations, including Dupont Circle Merchants and Professional Association, Dupont Circle BID Assessment District Task Force, and Historic Dupont Circle Main Streets. Feeback attended Wayne State University in Detroit and was awarded a full merit scholarship in business administration. A passionate NFL Detroit Lions fan, he is married to Janet for 18 years and has three daughters with whom he enjoys spending time with when he is not working.
