The Pueblo of Santa Ana – (August 24, 2012) – The Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa, located on the Pueblo of Santa Ana between Santa Fe and Albuquerque in New Mexico, has hired Troy Wood as its new director of sales and marketing. Wood joins the resort from the Grand Hyatt and Hyatt Regency San Antonio in Texas. He is returning to the Hyatt Regency Tamaya after working at the property four years ago as its director of catering and convention services.
“I am delighted to be returning to the Hyatt Regency Tamaya as director of sales and marketing,” said Troy Wood, director of sales and marketing at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa. “Working at several different Hyatt properties throughout my career, the Hyatt Regency Tamaya is one of the most exceptional resorts I’ve worked at as it is based on a Native American Pueblo. I am very excited to be part of such a great and dynamic Hyatt team and to work closely with the Pueblo leaders to make sure we are the best stewards of the incredible Native American and New Mexican cultures at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya property.”
With nearly twenty years of experience in the hospitality industry and with Hyatt Corporation, Wood has worked at 11 domestic and international Hyatt properties including the Hyatt Continental in Montreux, Switzerland; the Hyatt Regency Perth in Perth, Australia; and the Grand Hyatt Melbourne in Melbourne, Australia.
