Dustin Resnick Named as Senior Director of Acquisitions and Development
for HHM, Formerly Known as Hersha Hospitality Management

(Philadelphia) – August 8, 2012
… HHM, formerly known as Hersha Hospitality Management, named Dustin Resnick as senior director of acquisitions and development and announced the availability of funds for investment and acquisitions.

HHM has significant capital to deploy for both direct acquisitions and joint ventures.  The acquisitions team is fully built out and aggressively pursuing branded and independent full service hotel opportunities, along with select-service portfolios, in the top 50 MSAs where the company can add value through focused management.

“Our access to funding requires and allows HHM to strengthen our acquisitions team and to seek out more investments in hotels that align with our brand excellence,” Naveen P. Kakarla, president and CEO of HHM said. “Dustin brings a wealth of acquisitions experience and will be pivotal for this next step of growth, as part of the dedicated team. His successful track record in real estate acquisitions and industry relationships will be invaluable at HHM as we build on our operating platforms and increase our development efforts.”

Well poised for growth opportunities, HHM already has partnerships in place with The Moinian Group, Blackrock Financial, Campus Apartments, Mast Capital and Starwood Capital Group.

In his new role, Resnick, who has more than 10 years of experience in real estate acquisitions and development, is responsible for the sourcing, structuring, and execution of hotel acquisitions and development opportunities.  Prior to joining the Hersha Group, he was the vice president of investment sales at MK Hotels, a hotel real estate brokerage firm, where he was involved in transactions totaling more than $550 million.  Resnick received a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and is an active member of the United States Green Building Council.
