News for the Hospitality Executive
Voorhees, NJ – May 10, 2012 – Ruchi Enterprises a leading hotel management and development company based in Voorhees, NJ is proud to announce the opening of the TriBeCa Blu Hotel in New York’s neighborhood of TriBeCa. Located at 276 Canal Street, the 70‐room boutique hotel offers a unique experience to a wide variety of travelers.
The building dates back to the beginning of the 20th century and highlights an in depth historical feeling from the turn of that century but will offer many conveniences from the 21st century including: wireless check‐in from a PDA, complimentary wireless throughout the hotel, Oxygen O2 bath amenities, pillow top mattresses, iPod docking stations and breathtaking views of New York City. The guestrooms are also equipped with high ceilings and tall windows capturing the essence of a historic experience of a New York City Building.
“We spent time formulating ideas on catering to the needs and desires of the everyday traveler to New York City. For instance, the business traveler wants to spend as little time as possible during the check‐in process. So why not check into your room on your iPhone in route from the airport to the hotel giving more time to prepare for a hectic business meeting. We want to combine both the convenience and the service experience,” said Ruchi Enterprises CEO, Bart Khatiwala.
The hotel will offer complimentary cappuccinos and espressos in the lobby. “Why not enjoy a cup of cappuccino in the lobby in the morning while interacting with the many hotel guests or enjoying the view from your guestroom, appreciating the wonders of this city while savoring a cup of espresso” said Molly Troutman, Regional Director of Operations of Ruchi Enterprises.
Being in the center of New York City’s Downtown artistic community, the TriBeCa Blu hotel will also feature work from numerous local artists, further being proactive in the community allowing guests to get a glimpse of the vibrancy of the neighborhood. “One of our service concepts is to focus on our diverse community and represent this theme to the fullest. We want our guests to have that everlasting memory with the uniqueness that we offer,” said Ruchi Enterprises COO, Mamta Khatiwala. “We are just so excited to enter the New York City market in an amazing location and look forward to upholding the highest service culture,” added Khatiwala.
