Crestline Hotels & Resorts Appoints Paul R. Giovanini, CHA, as General Manager
for the 150-room Phoenix Park Hotel in Washington, D.C.

WASHINGTON, May 8, 2012 -- Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. today announced the appointment of Paul R. Giovanini, CHA, as General Manager for the Phoenix Park Hotel. The boutique and historic property is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Washington, D.C., and features 150 well-appointed guestrooms including six deluxe suites--three penthouse and three bi-level suites. In addition, the hotel offers 5,000 square feet of elegant meeting and event space.

Mr. Giovanini joins Crestline from the Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront where he was General Manager. He brings more than 25 years of hospitality industry operations and management experience having also worked for such prestigious brands as The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. He began his career with the Sands Ocean Club & Beach Resorts on Myrtle Beach, SC.

"Paul is an accomplished leader with tremendous experience in operations and guest service," said James Carroll, President & Chief Operating Officer of Crestline Hotels & Resorts. "Paul is very familiar with the Washington, D.C. market and we know he will excel at managing this beautiful historic hotel," added Carroll.

Mr. Giovanini holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Florida State University. During his career he has been active in both civic and hospitality industry causes serving on the Board of Directors for the USO of Metropolitan Washington, D.C.; the Board of Directors for the Arlington Chamber of Commerce, Arlington, VA; a Board Member of the Arlington Travel and Tourism Commission, Arlington, VA; a member of the VHTA Education Foundation Committee, Richmond, VA, and the SKAL Club of Washington, D.C. He is also a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) from the American Hotel & Lodging Association.

The Phoenix Park Hotel
The hotel, which is a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation's elite group of Historic Hotels, underwent a major renovation to ensure the continuation of its historic charm and ambiance. The hotel is located at 520 North Capitol Street NW and is only two blocks from the Nation's Capitol and one block from Union Station. Since 1922 it has hosted diplomats, congressman and visitors from around the world.
