Four Seasons Hotel Chicago in Illinois Welcomes Michele Grosso
as General Manager and Michael Pedder as Hotel Manager

CHICAGO - May 4, 2012
– Four Seasons Hotel Chicago is pleased to welcome Michele Grosso as its new General Manager as well as Michael Pedder as its new Hotel Manager.
Grosso, a native of northern Italy, a 22 year veteran of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, is thrilled to be back in Chicago – where he served as the General Manager at The Ritz-Carlton Chicago, a Four Seasons Hotel, before his appointment as GM at Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita.
“Chicago is such a world-class city with an amazing energy accentuated by its distinctive brand of Midwestern hospitality, Grosso said. “It’s also an exciting time for Four Seasons Hotel Chicago, which has just been completely transformed with a new renovation and the launch of Allium restaurant.
“The hotel looks amazing and we look forward to continuing to share the new look and vibe with the Chicago community as well as visitors from near and far,” he added.
Grosso’s 22 years with Four Seasons have taken him to posts in Europe, Asia and North America. When he is not working he enjoys cooking meals inspired by the various places he has lived as well as watching Italian soccer and the Chicago Bears and Bulls – a pastime that became his favorite during his previous years in Chicago.
Grosso is joined at Four Seasons Chicago by new Hotel Manager Michael Pedder, a 10-year veteran of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, who most recently served as Hotel Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Austin.
Pedder, a native of the UK and graduate of University of Lancashire, has also held posts at Four Seasons Hotels in Philadelphia, Hawaii and in Los Angeles where as Director of Food and Beverage he oversaw the successful opening of Culina Modern Italia.
Like Grosso, Pedder is an avid sports fan. While he is miles away from his favorite Liverpool football club, he does looks forward to cheering on the Chicago Bears this fall.
