GREENBORO, Ga. May 18, 2012 -- Andrew Neubauer III, a veteran hotel executive with extensive sales and marketing as well as management experience, has been named director of sales and marketing at The Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation. In his new post, Neubauer will oversee all sales and marketing activities and programs – including group and leisure sales, advertising, marketing, social media and public relations – for the 251-room southeast luxury golf resort – situated on 30 acres of pristine shoreline on Georgia’s Lake Oconee in Reynolds Plantation, an upscale golf community between Atlanta and Augusta. After a ten-year hiatus, Neubauer is returning to The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company LLC, where he held a variety of positions at several properties from 1992 to 2002. “We are thrilled that Andrew has returned to The Ritz-Carlton management team,” said Ralph Vick, general manager of The Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation. “With a varied background in group and incentive sales as well as management, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our staff.” With 28 years of experience in the hotel industry, Neubauer was also with Starwood Hotels and Resorts for ten years, where he was most recently director of sales and marketing at the 694-room Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort, a position he held for five years.
