June 8, 2012 (London) - Dorchester Collection has announced the appointment of Rachel Angell as performance improvement manager for the UK area, encompassing The Dorchester, Coworth Park and 45 Park Lane. The focus of the new role is to ensure extraordinary service levels are maintained at each hotel, providing the ultimate in guest engagement. Reporting to Roland Fasel, regional director UK and general manager of The Dorchester, Angell will also work closely with Dorchester Collection's Ana Brant, who joined in March 2012 as director of organizational performance. Brant is responsible for driving guest engagement and employee engagement across all of the luxury hotel collection's properties. Previously, Angell served as event manager at Coworth Park, which she has held since 2010. Prior to Coworth Park, Angell worked as senior event manager from 2008 to 2010 at Mandarin Oriental in London and as assistant banqueting manager from 2005 to 2008 at The Dorchester. Earlier experience includes four years in Front of House positions at The Savoy. Roland Fasel commented, "Rachel's well deserved promotion is testament to her hard work and dedication.
