New York, New York (June 14, 2012) –Hotel and hospitality veteran Holly Waterbor-Breuche has been named the General Manager of the Quin, a new luxury boutique hotel set to open this winter in Manhattan. The Quin is a joint venture between Three Wall Capital and Caro Enterprises. Waterbor-Breuche has 25 years of experience as a General Manager and Director of Marketing for several New York City Hotels, starting her career at the prestigious Plaza Hotel and The Waldorf-Astoria. From there she took the role of Associate Director of Sales at the national sales office of Hyatt Hotels where she directed a portfolio of over 150 properties. She has also been an integral part of launching five additional properties – The Omni Berkshire Place, The New York Palace, The Chelsea Hotel, Royalton Hotel, and most recently The Setai Fifth Avenue. “Holly is a veteran of the New York metropolitan market,” said Alan Kanders, principal of Three Wall Capital. “She has served in executive-level positions within the New York City and surrounding area markets for the past 25 years, including two previous General Manager appointments and is a perfect fit to lead the management team at New York’s newest boutique hotel, the Quin.” The Quin, located at the corner of 57th Street and Sixth Avenue, is a new luxury hotel that will occupy the space formerly home to the Buckingham Hotel. Waterbor-Breuche earned her Bachelors of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Southern New Hampshire and is an esteemed member of the Waldorf-Astoria Distinguished Alumni Association. She is a former US Director of the Year for Omni Hotels, she served an award winning term as President of the Big Apple Chapter of the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International, which was named Chapter of the Year under her leadership, and she has served as Chairman of the Educational Committee of the Hotel Association of New York City. Waterbor-Breuche is the Executive Director of The Waterbor Burn and Cancer Foundation in Sea Girt, New Jersey.
