The demonstration presented the streamlined movement of a hotel guest's request from placement, using a touchscreen tablet with the ICE interface, to the order's or request's completion. Adelson showed how a room service order entered by a guest on their in-room tablet, TV or personal device (smartphone, tablet or laptop) instantly goes into the hotel's system and appears to room service kitchen staff. No data reentry is necessary, and the order is monitored fully.

Guests no longer wait on hold or in line. Hotels no longer need in-room compendiums. ICE is all about time and money savings.

ICE offers 35 hotel services to hotel guests -- from room service and housekeeping to wake-up calls and hotel and travel information, from room controls and door opening to transportation information and boarding pass printing. Processing of requests and orders is immediate through ICE's integration with more than 25 management systems, including POS, PMS, Request (Ticket), Room Controls, Spa and TV systems.
