Gary Sain, Formerly the President and CEO of Visit Orlando, to Receive Posthumous
Lifetime Achievement Award from the Association of Travel Marketing Executives

NEW YORK, NY – June 20, 2012 – The Association of Travel Marketing Executives (ATME) will celebrate the life of Gary Sain on June 26 by presenting him with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the annual ATLAS Awards Banquet and Dinner.

Sain, who was the President and CEO of Visit Orlando, previously served as ATME’s chairman from 2001 to 2006. Sain is remembered as a hard-working, passionate colleague as well as a devoted father and husband. He is survived by his wife, Pamela, and their two daughters, Vanessa and Olivia.

Sponsored by Discover and Diners Club International, the ATLAS Awards Banquet and Dinner, which is part of ATME’s annual conference, will take place Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at the W Hotel City Center. The reception will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m. Those interested in attending the dinner who have not already registered for the conference can register online at http://atme.org/.

ATME’s annual conference, taking place June 26-27, 2012, at the W Hotel City Center in Chicago, will focus on Relevance: The New Marketing Imperative and will help attendees better understand their brand, product and message relevancy in order to capitalize on evolving consumer and market needs.
