Costa d’Este Beach Resort is part of Benchmark Hospitality’s Personal Luxury Resorts & HotelsSM. Greg Champion, Benchmark’s chief operating officer, made the announcement “I am very pleased to welcome Ed to Benchmark Hospitality and to Costa d’Este Beach Resort,” stated Mr. Champion. “He brings significant experience in luxury hospitality to his new role, and we look forward to his successful leadership of this extraordinary resort.” Previously, Ed Riley was general manager of the Harbor Hotel on Lake Seneca in Watkins Glen, New York. Mr. Riley has also owned and operated The West Dover Inn, an historic Vermont property, which he successfully repositioned as one of the leading destinations its market. Earlier Riley served as vice president and general manager of Hampshire Hospitality Group. He has also previously held leadership positions at the Equinox, The Fountainbleau Miami Beach and The Copley Plaza. Ed Riley is a graduate of Western New England College, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. He is relocating to the Vero Beach area.
