Bernard Lackner Appointed as Chief Executive Officer
of Fisher Island Club off the Coast of Miami, Florida


MIAMI, June 12, 2012
-- Bernard Lackner was recently appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Fisher Island Club. In his new role, Mr. Lackner will oversee operations and direction of all of the island's signature amenities and services, including Fisher Island Hotel & Resort, all food and beverage operations, the beach club, spa, tennis, golf and marina facilities. Mr. Lackner will also be responsible for staff management and member relations.

Prior to joining Fisher Island Club, Mr. Lackner served as Vice President and General Manager of Hotel Plaza Athenee in New York for more than 20 years, where he developed a core clientele base including entertainers, royalty, heads of state and major corporate business executives. Mr. Lackner supervised all aspects of operations, global sales and marketing activities, etc. In addition to his extensive experience at Hotel Plaza Athenee, Mr. Lackner has held management positions at The Pierre Hotel, New York-- a Four Seasons Hotel at that time--and Hotel George V in Paris --now a Four Seasons Hotel—and Hilton International in Paris, to name a few. In addition, Mr. Lackner is a graduate of the Executive Management Program at the Four Seasons Hotel in Hamburg, Germany.

Mr. Lackner was a Board Member of the New York City Hotel Association for many years. He has completed numerous management seminars at Cornell University, including P & L Management and Hotel Sales & Marketing. He has a Baccalaureate in International Economics and Financial Management in Luebeck, Germany.
