Garrison Investment Group Selects Aimbridge Hospitality to
Manage the Columbia Marriott in Columbia, South Carolina
More than 250 hotel and real estate professionals from Greater Dallas attended the 200
DALLAS (June 15, 2012) — Aimbridge Hospitality is pleased to announce that it has been chosen to manage the Columbia Marriott in Columbia, South Carolina. The hotel, conveniently located in downtown Columbia just two blocks from the state capitol, is owned by Garrison Investment Group.
The Columbia Marriott represents Aimbridge Hospitality’s fourth transaction with Aimbridge’s newest partner, Garrison Investment Group, and the fourth Marriott branded hotel in the Aimbridge Hospitality portfolio.
Dave Johnson, President and CEO of Aimbridge Hospitality, is thrilled about the latest addition to the Aimbridge portfolio.

The Columbia Marriott hotel is the perfect destination for business or pleasure, featuring 225 guest rooms and 15 suites, 28,000 square feet of meeting and event space, and a fitness center and indoor pool. Located in the heart of downtown Columbia, the Columbia Marriott is near the South Carolina state capitol, the Columbia Museum of Art and the Riverbanks Zoo and Garden. The hotel also boasts two dining options, the City Center Grill and Lounge and Garnet’s Sports Bar.
