CHICAGO, APRIL 24, 2012 – Swissôtel is pleased to announce the appointment of Jack Breisacher as the new General Manager of Swissôtel Chicago. Breisacher returns to Swissôtel Chicago from China, where he spent the last twenty months at the helm of Swissôtel Beijing, Hong Kong Macau Centre.

Breisacher has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the hospitality industry. He joined Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts in 2003 as Area Director of Sales and Marketing, Americas. He brought with him three decades of experience in various sales and marketing management roles at top hospitality companies throughout the United States.

In 2005, he was appointed Executive Assistant Manager of Swissôtel Chicago and was promoted just a year later to Hotel Manager. On the international level, he had a vital role in developing the Sales and Marketing Department ahead of the opening of Swissôtel Kolkata and served as Interim General Manager of Swissôtel Nai Lert Park, Bangkok for three months in 2009.

Before joining the Swissôtel team, Breisacher held the position of Area Director of Sales and Marketing for Hilton Chicagoland Sales, effectively reengineering the sales and marketing function and team for the three-company owned Hilton Hotels in Chicago. He started his career as Tour & Travel Manager of the Twin Bridges Marriott Hotel and steadily moved up the ladder through his affiliations with Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Stouffer Hotels and Resorts, Renaissance Hotels and Resorts, Loews Hotels and Hilton Hotel Corporation.
