Miami Beach, Florida (April 23, 2012) – The Setai, Miami Beach today announced the hiring of one of the most recognized professionals in the luxury hotel industry. Guenter H. Richter, C.H.A., has joined the hotel as vice president and managing director.

Mr. Richter was most recently the managing director of The Setai Fifth Avenue in New York City. Prior to that, he served as General Manager of The Regent Bal Harbour, the St. Regis New York and the Drake Hotel in New York, as well as such luxury hotels as the Bel Air Hotel in Beverly Hills and The Mansion on Turtle Creek in Dallas. He holds degrees from the Hotel Management School in Heidelberg, Germany and Cornell School of Hotel Administration in Ithaca, New York.
