American Casino & Entertainment Wins Coveted Green Award Ensuring
that What Happens in Vegas Doesn't Necessarily Stay in Vegas

Melbourne, Australia April 25, 2012
– When it comes to glamour, glitz and good times, few places on the planet can match Las Vegas, Nevada. But what many people don’t realize is that the fun capital of the United States is quickly becoming one of the “greenest” destinations in North America.

That’s because a growing number of hoteliers on the Vegas Strip are catering to guest’s demand for greener stays by providing environmentally responsible amenities. A prime example is American Casino & Entertainment Properties LLC (ACEP), which owns and operates four gaming and entertainment properties in Las Vegas including the landmark Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower.

Guests at all ACEP lodgings are pampered with Eco Fresh Naturals, a collection of citrus-fragranced bath and body cosmetics, specially customized for the hotel brand. The liquids and soaps are vegetable-based and the plastic packaging in ERP™ (Environmentally Responsible Product), both biodegrades in landfill and is recyclable—representing the best in planet stewardship.

Recognizing ACEP’s sustainability efforts, Concept Amenities awarded the company with ERP™ certification at a special presentation held on March 20, 2012 at the office of Kevin Ball, Corporate Vice President of Purchasing for American Casino & Entertainment Properties, adjacent to the Stratosphere.

Accepting the award, Kevin Ball noted that: “We are proud to be recognized for ACEP’s ongoing efforts to be environmentally responsible and have a positive impact on the carbon footprint in Las Vegas.    Las Vegas is not only a world-class tourist destination, but also the community our team members work, live and raise their children in.”

For nearly three decades, Concept Amenities has been an innovator in providing the hospitality industry with the best of both worlds – environmentally responsible products and amenities that entice and delight hotel guests.  “We’re not just a supplier for the hospitality industry,” says CEO Michael Matulick. “We’re a trusted partner who plays an integral role in shaping our customers’ brand experiences. We are intrinsically linked to the creation of memorable guest experiences that protect our planet.
