April 10, 2012 — (San, Antonio, Texas) – BC LYND Hospitality, LLC, based in San Antonio, Texas, has hired Chip Young as chief operating officer.  He will manage day-to-day operations, grow revenue, build relationships with hotel franchisors, handle investor relations and manage business systems.

In his career,  Young has held top executive and property level positions with such brands as Marriott, Hilton and Hyatt hotels, as well as independent hotel operations. Most recently, he was a vice president of operations for a prominent national hotel management firm. Young has received numerous awards for management excellence and quality improvement in the hospitality industry.

“Chip will apply his entrepreneurial style, relationships and industry knowledge to drive company growth,” said BC LYND Hospitality CEO Brandon S. Raney. “We will capitalize on his over 30 years of experience in the business to execute BC Lynd’s business plan and enhance our value creation model.”

BC LYND Hospitality, a joint venture between LYND, a national real estate investment and management company focused on the multifamily sector, and BC Commercial Partners, LLC, was formed in 2011 under the leadership of Brandon S.
