year, the Young
Hoteliers Summit will welcome over 50 delegates from nineteen different
International Hospitality schools to participate in the event held at
Ecole
hôtelière de Lausanne between March 19th and 21st. The Young Hoteliers Summit is the annual flagship event of YHS Global which allows for young talents, key industry players and educational institutions of the hospitality industry to meet in order to exchange views on pertinent employment topics and industry-related trends. A big contributor towards nurturing these topics will be coming from this year’s YHS Challenge provider: Hyatt Hotels & Resorts. The Summit provides a platform for all student delegates to exchange knowledge and ideas, foster creativity and to build a strong network of like-minded young people. With the aim of improving the opportunities for young talents in the hospitality industry, the Young Hoteliers Summit is seen as the starting point in co-developing actionable recommendations in order to align its three main stakeholders: hospitality companies, students and institutions. Keeping up with the rapid growth of the Young Hoteliers Summit, the 2012 edition will extend to three days during which all participants will have the opportunity to attend keynote presentations, panels, workshops, company focus groups, as well as a recruitment fair. The main feature of the Summit is a unique Challenge which will be proposed by Hyatt Hotels & Resorts this year. Ultimately, the winning team will be offered an educational prize by Hyatt. Furthermore, the Young Hoteliers Summit 2012 is proud to announce its Royal Partners for this year’s event: Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Expedia Partner Services Group and Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts. What is YHS Global? YHS Global is a non-profit association launched by a group of students at the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne in 2009. The association acts towards improving professional opportunities for young talent in hospitality by fostering a dialogue between companies, educational institutions and the young in hospitality. |
