LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Jan. 26, 2011) – Denise Evans and Erika Farrell have filled two key roles at The Peabody Little Rock hotel.  Evans has been hired as executive meeting manager, and Farrell has been selected as the new catering sales manager for The Peabody Little Rock.

"Evans and Farrell will make great additions to our team at The Peabody Little Rock," said Bruce Skidmore, the hotel's director of sales and marketing.  "Their attention to detail, customer service skills, and ability to work quickly and thoroughly will provide our clients a Four-Star quality experience."

Effective immediately, Evans will serve as executive meeting manager for The Peabody Little Rock, focusing on targeted client groups that typically confirm group bookings on short timeframes.  She will be responsible for handling all aspects of clients’ needs when requiring sleeping rooms with meeting and meal functions.  Evans most recently worked as guest relations specialist at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla. Evans, a former sales development coordinator of The Peabody Memphis, returns to the company to continue the momentum of The Peabody Little Rock’s recent success. She has a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Memphis and a Master of Arts in education from Union University in Jackson, Tenn.

Farrell will serve as catering sales manager for The Peabody Little Rock. She most recently worked as project coordinator for BP in Houston, Texas.  Prior to her work there, Farrell served as development director and event manager at The Wallis Family Foundation and as event coordinator at the Epilepsy Foundation of Texas.  In her new role, Farrell will manage services for The Peabody Little Rock’s local catering clients. These clients will focus on the meeting and meal functions at the hotel but may require sleeping rooms on occasion.  Farrell holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication, electronic media and photography from Texas State University.
