Kimberly Wilson Appointed as General Manager for the 650-room
Harbor Beach Marriott Resort & Spa in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

- Harbor Beach Marriott Resort & Spa is pleased to announce Kimberly Wilson as the new general manager. With over 24 years of hospitality experience with Marriott International, Inc., nearly a decade within Florida, Wilson will oversee and direct all aspects of the day-to-day management and operations for the 650-room South Florida resort.
 
“I’m very excited to join the Harbor Beach team,” said Wilson. “This beachfront resort has always been one of South’s Florida’s premier properties and I look forward to being part of its continued success.”
 
Part of the Marriott family since 1988, Wilson most recently served as the area general manager for the Miami Airport Marriott, where she oversaw a three-property, 828-room campus with $31 million  in sales. Previously, she had served as the area general manager for the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay and the South Beach Marriott. As an accomplished professional in the industry, Wilson has received numerous awards throughout her career including Marriott International, Inc.’s Leadership Excellence Award, General Manager of the Year by Innkeepers USA, National Academy Foundation Advisory Board Champion Award, Living the Vision Award and a Financial Excellence Award.

Wilson earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Valdosta State College. She is married and enjoys water sports, reading and spending time with her husband, mother and golden retriever.
