“After three years of the most difficult downturn in modern hotel history, hoteliers are feeling more optimistic about the future and now are looking at the upside potential, which is our focus this year,” said Bob Hunter, CEO of Hunter Realty and conference co-chair. “We saw a positive turnaround in confidence at last year’s conference with our second highest attendance ever and expect this to be a record year.”
“Another positive sign for the hotel industry is the increased registration by hotel lenders this year,” said Lee Hunter, Conference co-chair and COO of Hunter Realty. “We have some 20 lenders registered to date and expect that number to increase substantially. We have three sessions on lending, reflecting the importance of this topic to hotel owners and the growing interest by lenders.”
