L’Auberge de Sedona, the Luxury Inn, Spa and Restaurant in Arizona
Completes $25 Million Multi-Phase Property Renovation

October 2011 (SEDONA, AZ)
– L’Auberge de Sedona, the exclusive luxury inn, spa and restaurant on Oak Creek in Arizona’s famed Red-Rock country, has completed a $25 million, multi-phase property renovation. The transformation included an extensive redesign to its guestrooms and spa, and the addition of 30 luxury cottages, Veranda Bar and the property’s first pool. The resort, which opened in 1984, started the Project Elevation in 2009 to maintain its role as the luxury hospitality leader in Arizona.

Recently named by Good Morning America as one of the “Most Beautiful Places in America,” Sedona’s red mountains, colorful sunsets and tranquil Oak Creek complement the color palettes and aesthetic themes of L’Auberge’s new property enhancements.

"The ultimate goal is to offer new and returning guests the best travel experience possible,” says Jesse Alexander, General Manager. “We’ve always been passionate about our beautiful setting and our attention to the slightest detail of our guests’ needs. With the opening of our brand new pool deck, the redesign of our spa and guestrooms, alongside the addition of our luxurious Vista and Spa Cottages and Suites, we have elevated our status with amenities, guest services and special touches that are truly among the very best in North America.”

The first phase of the renovation included an entirely new lobby, the redesign of the resort’s 26 Lodge rooms and 31 Creekside and Garden Cottages, and the addition of 30 brand new Spa Cottages and Vista Cottages and Suites. Taking inspiration from L’Auberge’s tranquil surroundings, rooms feature private balconies or patios, plush linens, eco-friendly fabrics in a natural color palette with hues of sage, taupe and bark as well soothing tones of camel, cream and white, accented by rich wood furnishings.

The newly built or redesigned Cottages feature enhanced indoor and outdoor living spaces with large sprawling balconies and decks that provide unforgettable views perfect for outdoor dining and entertaining. Cottages also offer luxury, outdoor cedar showers with open roofs for viewing the morning sunrise or night sky, gas or wood burning fireplaces and deep soaking Jacuzzi tubs.

During the second phase of the property refresh, L’Auberge completed a redesign of their award-winning Spa at L’Auberge and rounded out the on-property dining options with the addition of Veranda Bar, an expansion of the always-in-demand creekside dining patio terrace featuring a new creekside fire pit lounge area. The redesigned 5,000 square-foot Spa is comprised of four indoor treatment rooms, separate men’s and women’s steam showers and a full service mani-pedi salon. Treatments can also be enjoyed creekside in a private cabana or in the privacy of guestrooms. The Spa at L’Auberge offers an array of “only in Sedona” energy based treatments.

Joining the award winning, AAA Four-Diamond L’Auberge Restaurant on Oak Creek, is the new laid-back Veranda Bar, outfitted with a granite bar and rich wood accents, dim lighting, indoor/outdoor seating and picturesque views of Oak Creek. The Veranda Bar offers an extensive list of award-winning varietals, including a diverse wine list, premium and small batch liquors and seasonal cocktails. A small plate menu, showcasing the kitchen’s Mediterranean flavors is also offered that complements that beverage list.

The third and most recent phase of the property upgrades, added a brand new pool and pool deck in the heart of L’Auberge. The outdoor, climate-controlled saltwater pool, designed to bring relaxation and luxury to guests’ outdoor experience at the resort offers pristine views of the nearby Red Rock formations. Highlights of the pool deck include chaise lounges, dining tables and a whirlpool.
