(Oct. 17, 2011) – Home2 Suites by Hilton celebrated
the opening of the brand’s fifth U.S. hotel in West Valley City, Utah
today. Home2 Suites West Valley City was the first hotel
to break ground for the brand in 2011, with a groundbreaking ceremony
in
January. It was completed in less than nine months, one month ahead of
the
original projected opening date. The hotel joins four other properties already open in Fayetteville, N.C., Layton, Utah, Baltimore, Md., and San Antonio, Texas. “We are thrilled that the West Valley City Home2 Suites is up and running so soon,” said Bill Duncan, global head, Home2 Suites. “This is our second of five properties to open in under a year, and we owe it to the great team of owners, builders and designers working around the clock to see it through. We have the flexibility and the ingenuity owners are looking for in today’s market, and West Valley City is an ideal example of how our design is translating to success right out of the gate.” The property is located at 4028 West Parkway Boulevard, West Valley City, in Utah’s second-largest city. The 79-suite, four-story hotel is owned by HWV, LLC and managed by Inn Management, Inc.
