BHG, Brazil Hospitality Group to Manage the 418-suite Royal Tulip
Rio de Janeiro in Brazil Formerly the Intercontinental

SAO PAULO, Oct. 3, 2011-- BHG S.A. – Brazil Hospitality Group (BM&FBovespa: BHGR3) announces that it will start to manage the hotel complex in Sao Conrado, Rio de Janeiro, starting on October 1, 2011.

By common agreement through a harmonious process, the hotel (currently called the "Intercontinental") will cease to be operated by IHG on September 30. BHG will assume the management of the complex on the following day, with the new title, Royal Tulip Rio de Janeiro.

The period of transition began on March 22 of this year with the purchase of shares representing 100% of the stock of Brascan Imobiliaria Hotelaria e Turismo S.A., previous owner of the hotel.

According to BHG President, Pieter J. F. van Voorst Vader, "hotel operations are not going to be interrupted at any time".

With the start of the management of this property, BHG will be adding 418 high-end suites to its portfolio, totaling 7.068 rooms distributed in 36 hotels.
