Meyers began her career at the Golden Tulip in Aruba and then accepted a position at Hyatt Regency Aruba when it opened 21 years ago, making her the first employee at the resort. While at Hyatt Regency Aruba, she used her keen insight into the industry and her professional wit and wisdom to gain the trust of meeting planners and key industry partners from around the world. Her accomplishments did not go unnoticed and in 2007 she was asked by the government to lead the Aruba Tourism Authority’s office in the United States, where she represented the island of Aruba to North America.
