Renovation Completed at the 132-room Courtyard Philadelphia Valley Forge/Collegeville

Collegeville, PA – November 8, 2011 – Visitors to Collegeville, PA now have a new place to relax during their travels as the Courtyard by Marriott located at 600 Campus Drive unveils its new look after a major renovation. The hotel now features the brand’s new Refreshing Business Lobby concept, designed to give travelers the flexibility to work and socialize while on the road. The 132- room Courtyard Philadelphia Valley Forge/Collegeville operates as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by White Lodging Services of Merrillville, IN.

Conveniently located at the intersections of Route 29 and Route 422 in the Providence Corporate Center, the hotel offers convenient access to Movie Tavern, Valley Forge Historical Park, Philadelphia Premium Outlets and the King of Prussia Mall.

The classic style and warm colors in the lobby welcomes guests to relax in the lounge or pick a spot in the lobby to connect with friends. A signature element of the new lobby is the exclusive GoBoard® technology, a 55-inch LCD touch screen packed with local information, maps, weather, and news, business and sports headlines. Guests can navigate using the touch screen to find restaurants, local attractions and directions.

Guests can connect to free WiFi and there are ample electrical outlets throughout the lobby to power digital devices. The business library features complimentary computer terminals along with a free printer. There is also a computer station dedicated to printing airline-boarding passes and checking flight status.

Dining has been completely redesigned with The Bistro – Eat. Drink. Connect., offering casual, flexible seating; easier access to food and higher quality, healthier menu options for breakfast; and light evening fare, including snacks, wine and beer so guests can unwind. Flexible seating options range from a communal table in the middle of the action, to more private media booths with highdefinition televisions, to a more intimate, semi-enclosed lounge area.

The new guest rooms have been redesigned with the addition of new carpeting, draperies, bedding, furniture and each room now includes a flat-screen television. The Courtyard Philadelphia Valley Forge/Collegeville guest rooms feature a seating area with sofa bed or oversized chair, a large, well-lit work desk and complimentary high-speed Internet access.

The hotel has also upgraded its five meeting rooms, with 3,200 square feet of totally renovated meeting space and a custom catering menu, the Courtyard Philadelphia Valley Forge/Collegeville can accommodate 200 people for a wide variety of social and business events. In addition to its indoor space the hotel also boasts a large courtyard that is available for rental, complete with a fire pit and gazebo the area is perfect for small parties or a tented event of up to 220 people.
