Dec. 28, 2011 -- Just in time for holiday travel, Villa del Palmar
Cancun unveiled the highly anticipated third and final phase of the
resort on December 23. Phase three of this five-star hotel on
serene Playa Mujeres in Cancun, Mexico adds 137 more rooms, bringing
the final count to 415 luxurious guest rooms. Additional highlights
include new restaurants, an expanded kids club and a tranquil
jungle-themed spa. Conveniently situated just 35 minutes from the airport and 25 minutes north of the bustling Cancun hotel zone, Villa del Palmar offers a complimentary shuttle to the downtown six times daily for interested guests. Perfect for families, the resort offers cooking lessons, kite making and other handicraft classes for children at the poolside activities center as well as indoor and outdoor play areas, an LCD screen for movies and Xbox and Kinect games in the expanded state-of-the-art kids club. The resort's grand marble lobby is complete with a flowing fountain and stunning chandelier. Each of Villa del Palmar Cancun's luxuriously appointed guestrooms has a private terrace and is furnished with kitchenettes, flat-screen TVs and spacious spa tubs.
