French Creek Properties, LLC and its principal James Bennett, an investment manager of a $1.5 billion distressed securities fund, acquired the Fairway Suites recently from the bankruptcy estate of Peek’n Peak. Mr. Bennett’s vision is to provide a consistent experience for Fairway guests in elegantly furnished suites that are a level above others in the area. The Fairway Suites will be independently managed and we expect to make significant renovations and improvements over the course of the next year. Born and raised in Corry, Pennsylvania, Mr. Bennett hopes that the Fairway Suites will provide a luxurious home away from home for families and groups visiting the area and enjoying all the attractions that western New York and Pennsylvania have to offer.
