Hustad is an accomplished professional with more than 25 years experience in hospitality leadership positions. For the past seven years, he was Vice President/General Manager of The Inn on Biltmore Estate in Asheville, N.C. There, he managed hotel operations and product development, helping earn the property numerous awards, including Travel + Leisure’s 500 World’s Best Hotels, Condé Nast Traveler’s Gold List and Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence.
Hustad previously served in various management positions at several Ritz-Carlton properties and The Peabody Memphis Hotel. He began his career with Stouffer hotels.
Turnberry Hotel Group, a division of South Florida-based Turnberry Group of Companies, announced earlier this week it will manage Turnberry Isle Miami (formerly Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort). Turnberry created Turnberry Isle in the 1970s and reacquired the resort in 2006.

Hustad earned his bachelor’s degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and is a Certified Hotel Administrator.
