MERRILLVILLE, Ind., Aug. 31, 2011 -- Jon Peck, Chief Operating Officer for White Lodging, recently announced that Cory Chambers has been tapped to lead the sales and marketing efforts for the company's full-service hotels, which now number 12. "As the pre-opening Director of Sales and Marketing at the JW Marriott Indianapolis, Cory and his team led a truly successful opening," Peck said. "I have no doubt he will continue to deliver jaw-dropping results in his new corporate role." Responsible for the sales and marketing efforts for four hotels in the Marriott Place cluster, all of which are connected to the new Indiana Convention Center, Chambers distinguished himself by being named 2010 Sales Leader of the Year, Full Service Convention & Resort Hotels for Marriott's Western Region. Chambers and his team also won White Lodging's Pre-Opening Sales Teams of the Year award in 2010 for their efforts in opening the 1005 room JW Marriott.
