Starwood Opens New Sheraton Flagship with the Newly Renovated
379-room Sheraton Stamford Hotel Owned by a RockBridge
Partners and Davidson Hotels Joint Venture


WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.--July 12, 2011--Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: HOT) today announced that its iconic Sheraton brand has opened a new flagship hotel in Stamford, Connecticut. Sheraton Stamford Hotel features all the brand’s signature offerings including its new Sweet Sleeper bedding, Club Lounge, Link@Sheraton(R) experienced with Microsoft(R), Link Café and Sheraton Fitness programmed by Core Performance. The hotel boasts an ideal downtown location, proximate to shopping, restaurants and the train station, providing a short trip to New York City.

The Sheraton Stamford Hotel is one of more than 60 new hotels and over 20,000 rooms the company expects to be added to the Sheraton portfolio over the next three years as part of a multi-year strategic expansion plan.
