SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico – July 2011 – San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino continues to keep up appearances with a full-scale lobby renovation, beginning this month.  By September, the $2.2 million redesign will bring a completely new lobby and bar experience to the resort.

Already a favorite of locals and visitors to San Juan alike, the focal point of the re-imagined lobby will continue to be the legendary bar “1309”. Ushering in a new, modern feel, the deep wood finishes, rich earth tones and textures, and sleek metal accents will create an atmosphere of warmth and opulence for guests enjoying the Latin rhythms of a live band or a cocktail of choice.

The rest of the lobby’s public space will feature customized areas or “zones”, which will allow guests the opportunity to socialize with friends or enjoy an intimate conversation.  Additionally, communal tables, wired for business and social networking, will make an ideal gathering place for small impromptu meetings or for a leisurely online chat with friends.
