Alliance Hospitality Names Steve Huey as Director of Sales at the
Doubletree by Hilton Dallas Market Center in Texas

(AllianceHospitality.com) - Steve Huey has joined Alliance Hospitality as Director of Sales at the Doubletree by Hilton Dallas Market Center.  Just a short drive west of downtown Dallas, the hotel is located in the heart of the Dallas Market Center in the trendy Dallas Design District.  Convenient to American Airlines Center, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, and Scottish Rite and Parkland Hospitals, the hotel also offers easy access to leisure attractions such as the Dallas Zoo, NorthPark Center, and Medieval Times.

Huey comes to Alliance Hospitality from his most recent role as Sales Manager for the ATT Hotel & Conference Center at the University of Texas in Austin, an IACC Certified Facility.  A long-time Texas native, Huey has held Area and Regional Director of Sales & Marketing Positions for Omni Hotels and Resorts.

Appearing in over a dozen major productions and one act plays, Huey was actively involved in the Theatre Department during his studies at Texas A&M University – Commerce.  Huey’s extensive hospitality industry experience includes convention center, upscale, luxury, and independent properties, and his clients include many major Fortune 500 companies and national, local and  state associations.  In his free time, Huey is a Unit Commissioner / Assistant Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America.

In his new role, Huey will be responsible for motivating and directing the sales staff, as well as serving as a member of the hotel’s executive committee.  The Doubletree by Hilton Dallas Market Center recently completed an extensive renovation of rooms and public space, and the Terranova Café located adjacent to the lobby currently ranks #11 out of 1,196 restaurants in Dallas on Tripadvisor .
