(June 27, 2011) – CordeValle, A Rosewood Resort, is pleased to announce the appointment of Nancy Newberry Williams to the position of Sales Manager.  Williams brings nearly 10 years of sales, marketing and event experience to her new role, and will be responsible for overseeing all specials events at the resort including weddings and gala celebrations.

Williams began her career in the hospitality industry in 2002 as the Wedding Planner at Pebble Beach Resorts, and was instrumental in managing and executing the AT&T Golf Pro-Am Tournament and Concourse d’ Elegance events held at the property.  From there, Williams moved on to become the Conference Services and Catering Manager at Valley Resort Management Company, with clients including Bernardus and Quail Lodge, and later she took on the position of Sales Manager at the Palm Springs Convention Center.  In addition to her work in the hospitality and events industry, Williams also created and ran her own private events business, Fancy by Nancy, where she specialized in wedding, social and corporate event planning.
