AUSTIN, TEXAS. USA (July 27, 2011) — Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®) recently launched an online practice exam for the Certified Hospitality Accountant Executive (CHAE) and is currently working on an online practice exam for the Certified Hospitality Technology Professional (CHTP). The CHAE Practice Exam is an actual sampling of questions taken from the CHAE Examination that have been rewritten for examination preparation. The practice exam includes US and Canadian versions with select questions from each section of the exam, for a total of 25 questions, and a results page showing a percentage passed in each section.

Earlier this year, HFTP completed a four-part online CHAE review course. Each part of the online review is presented with content building from the previous session and focuses on a specific topic — like "everything you want to know about inventory." This differs from the CHAE live review sessions offered at HFTP educational conferences and chapter meetings, which discusses content based off of the different chapters of the review guide.

"HFTP is working hard to make sure study resources for the CHAE and CHTP are convenient and easily accessible," said Frank Wolfe, CAE, CEO of HFTP. "Now everyone is given the same opportunities as they prepare for the certification exams, no matter where they are geographically located."

Acknowledged throughout the industry, the CHAE certification elevates the professionalism of both the recipient and the industry by helping set standards for the field. Those who earn the CHAE designation demonstrate a high level of dedication to their profession. The first CHAE exam was taken in Colorado Springs, Colo. in 1981. Since that time, more than 1,300 hospitality accountants from several countries have been certified. HFTP also administers the examination and awards the Certified Hospitality Technology Professional (CHTP). Both exams are available online.
