— Warwick International Hotels (WIH) has entered into a management
contract with Winter Valley Tourism Investment Company, P.L.C., owner
of a 4-star
deluxe resort on the coast of the Dead Sea in Jordan. With easy access
Amman, the capital and from the international airport, the resort is
to cater to both international tourists, business travellers and
Jordan and the nearby countries. Soft opening is scheduled for August
grand opening is planned to take place before the end of this year.
Known as the Winter Valley / Warwick Resort & Spa, Dead Sea, Jordan, the resort will consist of 161 rooms, each with a spectacular view over the Dead Sea and access to the beach. This seaside resort is also equipped with a gourmet restaurant, a lobby café/bar, a deli, an outdoor dining area and a pool bar. It also features a ballroom with breakout rooms, a spa & gym and three outdoor swimming pools and a ‘kids’ club.
With this new management contract, Warwick International Hotels provides its guests with an exceptional location, the Dead Sea, one of the most spectacular landscapes and the oldest natural spa in the world. WIH’s network is now proud to propose a collection of 46 hotels with more than 6,500 rooms worldwide. It is now present in the Middle East, South Africa, the South Pacific, South East Asia, Europe and the United States.
Warwick International Hotels will continue its dynamic expansion on two directions: further acquisitions of hotels and resorts when appropriate opportunities arise, organic growth by way of management contracts and affiliations. Several projects are now under study in the Middle East.
“Today, the signing of this new management agreement in Jordan shows the capacity and the willingness of WIH to respond to hotel investors and owners looking for a privately owned and internationally recognised hotel brand to operate their hotels and resorts,” said Mr Jean-François Garnier, Warwick Group Director of Development.
“Warwick International Hotels has a long track record in hotel management and we are convinced that our new Dead Sea Resort & Spa will be one of the tourism pearls in this part of the Middle East,” said GPaul Leblanc, Warwick Group VP Sales & Marketing.
