Amman and

— Warwick International Hotels (WIH) has entered into a management
contract with Winter Valley Tourism Investment Company, P.L.C., owner
of a 4-star
deluxe resort on the coast of the Dead Sea in Jordan. With easy access
from
Amman, the capital and from the international airport, the resort is
designed
to cater to both international tourists, business travellers and
visitors from
Jordan and the nearby countries. Soft opening is scheduled for August
2011, the
grand opening is planned to take place before the end of this year. Known as the Winter Valley / Warwick Resort & Spa, Dead Sea, Jordan, the resort will consist of 161 rooms, each with a spectacular view over the Dead Sea and access to the beach. This seaside resort is also equipped with a gourmet restaurant, a lobby café/bar, a deli, an outdoor dining area and a pool bar. It also features a ballroom with breakout rooms, a spa & gym and three outdoor swimming pools and a ‘kids’ club. With this new management contract, Warwick International Hotels provides its guests with an exceptional location, the Dead Sea, one of the most spectacular landscapes and the oldest natural spa in the world. WIH’s network is now proud to propose a collection of 46 hotels with more than 6,500 rooms worldwide. It is now present in the Middle East, South Africa, the South Pacific, South East Asia, Europe and the United States. Warwick International Hotels will continue its dynamic expansion on two directions: further acquisitions of hotels and resorts when appropriate opportunities arise, organic growth by way of management contracts and affiliations.
