VIE Hotel Bangkok and V Villas Hua Hin Appoints Wanida Tardivel
as Director of Business Development & Strategy


Bangkok, May 25, 2011
- VIE Hotel Bangkok, a member of the MGallery Collection, and V Villas Hua Hin managed by Accor, recently promoted Mrs. Wanida Tardivel as its Director of Business Development & Strategy, a promotion from Director of Business & Marketing. The appointment is effective immediately.
 
In her new role, Wanida will manage the hotel’s business frontier, overseeing the top line revenue of the business, and driving the Sales, Marketing, and Branding. She will also work closely with the Accor team to help enhance branding of the two hotels and continue to strengthen relationships with local and international business partners.
 
A graduate of Hotel & Tourism Management from Prince Songkla University’s Phuket Campus, and Mass Communications from Ramkhamhaeng University, Bangkok. Her professional career in the hospitality and tourism industry spans almost two decades and she has held key positions several of Thailand’s most prestigious hotels including Le Meridien Bangkok, Four Seasons Bangkok, Evason Hua Hin-Six Senses, and Marriott Resorts & Spas in Bangkok.

Wanida was also instrumental in establishing several networking clubs including the Thailand Hospitality Club; Thailand Professionals Club; Thailand Luxury Network, We Love Secretary Club, and most recently Business Golf Networking.

Wanida joined the Accor Group in 2009, and was instrumental in establishing Accor’s flagship MGallery to South East Asia. In the first two years, VIE Hotel Bangkok and V Villas Hua Hin received a number of local and international awards while she was Director of Business & Marketing.

Wanida looks forward to the challenge of her new position and contributing to the further success of VIE Hotel Bangkok and V Villas Hua Hin.

VIE Hotel Bangkok, the five-star standard hotel, recently received the “Trendy in Asia” by Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice Award; the “Best Newcomer in Bangkok” award by Wotif.com, and has been nominated as “Best Urban Hotel” by Anywhere Travel. As well as its restaurant VIE WINE & GRILL that recently received the “Thailand’s Best Restaurant 2011” from Thailand Tatler Best Restaurant Guide, the second consecutive year that the restaurant has received the award.

V Villas Hua Hin has been highlighted in DestinAsian’s Luxe List and nominated as “Best Luxury Hotel- Anywhere Travel Awards” voted by readers of Anywhere magazine, Thailand’s one of the top ten Lifestyle and Travel magazine. It is also considered ‘New Luxury & Trendy Hotels’ by Tourism Authority of Thailand
