FRANKFURT,
Germany, 6 May, 2011– Trust International hotel customers at its
annual
Customer Conference held in Dubai this year discovered that the next
generation
of hotel distribution services is all about customization and
flexibility in
every area of the booking process. Diversity
in distribution, Internet booking engines (IBE) and ecommerce was the
focus for
this year’s event. With the selection of Dubai as conference venue,
Trust also
underlined its commitment in this region in recent times, which
resulted in the
win of new hotel groups from the MENA region including Rotana,
Hospitality
Management Holding (HMH), Safir Hotels, and Jebel Ali Hotels.
Jack Tan, Chief Information Officer of Solare Hotels
& Resorts and a presenter at the conference, noted, “As a new
customer of
Trust since 2010, this conference is an invaluable differentiator that
elevates
Trust above its competitors. It is evident that the discussions
at this
event directly impact Trust’s product and service development, enabling
customization that responds to the changing marketplace. A
perfect
example is Trust’s IBE application that was adapted to Solare’s needs
for the
Japanese market. The behavior of Japanese consumers is
different from
other countries and for an international booking system like Trust, it
was a
challenge to support. But Trust was the first and only CRS to deliver a
localized Japanese booking engine with complete Japanese capabilities
including
the use of Japanese symbols and icons, localized rate/content plus
Japanese
mobile phone integration.”
Trust, already a leader in
online travel agency (OTA) connectivity, stated that it will be adding
approximately 20 more direct connects in 2011, such as Travelsky, TL
Lincoln and
Rakuten in the Asia Pacific, Tourico and Tablet in the Americas, and
Hotel.info
and GTA in Europe.
Jon Londeen, Senior Vice
President, Distribution & Reservations Management of The Leading
Hotels of
the World (LHW) said, “In addition to learning more about how to best
utilize
Trust’s products and services from Trust and fellow hoteliers, the
opportunity
to impact the next generation of products is invaluable. The
conference was very informative and you
can see that Trust is always going the extra mile to meet with its
clients to
get their input and feedback to get the right directions for the
further
product development.”
Trust executives took the
opportunity to share preliminary details about its upcoming launches of
Trust|Corporate,
the new IBE for corporate bookings and Trust|Data, a new data exchange
initiative that covers CRM integrations, reservation data feeds,
customized
confirmation, mobile booker integrations and more.
“As we currently roll out these
two new products, once again, we provided our customers with a preview
during
the final development stage so they have the opportunity to provide
valuable
feedback that ultimately makes our products and services stronger,”
said
Richard Wiegmann, Managing Director of Trust International.
Mr. Wiegmann noted, “The regular
meeting between Trust and its customers at least once per year is a
hallmark of
Trust’s commitment to them that we work closely with them to learn
about their
product and service needs and use their feedback as we develop the next
generation of products. Once again, this
conference provided valuable time to build relationships with our
customers and
partners. The entire conference group continues
to be impressed with the concepts that evolve as a result of the
discussions
and collaborations that are initiated at this annual event.”
