Seattle Marriott Waterfront in Washington Completes
$4 Million Renovation

Seattle, W.A. (May 17, 2011) — The Seattle Marriott Waterfront completed a four-month, $4 million renovation project, it was announced by Christopher Sullivan, General Manager.

According to Mr. Sullivan, the scope of the project was to provide an overall "refresh" of the property and focused on four key areas:

All of the hotel's 345 guest rooms received new carpeting, lighting, artwork, lighted headboards, mirrors, desk chairs, furniture, and curtains. New 42-inch flat screen televisions had been previously installed.  The bathrooms were also updated with new wall coverings, vanity mirrors, artwork, and paint.  All guest room corridors were completely refreshed with new carpeting, wall coverings, and paint.

Each of the hotel's 13 suites were totally renovated with new furniture, decor, carpet, wall coverings, and newly redone bathrooms.

The Concierge Lounge was also completely renovated with new furniture, decor, carpeting and wall coverings.

The fitness center received a complete makeover and now features all new Precor equipment with state-of-the-art cardio machines, free weights, and new floor and wall coverings.

The Seattle Marriott Waterfront is located in the heart of downtown Seattle Washington's most popular waterfront district, making it an ideal location for business or leisure guests. Many of the hotel's luxuriously appointed guestrooms feature private balconies offering breathtaking views of Mt. Rainier, Elliott Bay, or the Olympic Mountain range. This downtown Seattle hotel is near the convention center, just steps away from the famous Pike Place Market, right across from the Seattle Cruise Terminal (Pier 66), and only minutes from major attractions and shopping. The hotel also features a waterfront restaurant, 2100, which offers a superb dining experience and a dazzling choice of entrees drawn from coastal cultures from around the world spun with new American culinary techniques. The Seattle Marriott Waterfront has 11,000 square feet of meeting space able to accommodate up to to 600 attendees.
