Orlando, FL – May 17, 2011 –Intelity ICE (Interactive Customer Experience ™), the industry’s “most innovative” technology of 2010, has now arrived with force in the iconic city of Chicago. Guests at the historic Palmer House Hilton Hotel in Downtown Chicago, the Westin Chicago River North, The Ambassador East Hotel and Conrad Chicago will now have the ability to customize their experience with the touch of a finger. Available this coming summer, all four hotels will deploy versions of the award-winning ICE software, giving guests the power to access and coordinate all of their hotel needs directly from the convenience of their smartphones or in-room touch screens. Guests staying at the renowned Palmer House Hilton Hotel and Conrad Chicago will be able to use Intelity’s ICE Mobile app to order room service, find information on local attractions and events, make dinner reservations, coordinate transportation, or use any other available services with ease from their mobile phones. Perfect for the on-the-go traveler, it allows users to make their hotel service requests from within the hotel or even from miles away. In addition, Palmer House Hilton will also feature ICE Lobby providing a public-space solution to guests and visitors. Another popular version, ICE Touch, will be found at the Westin Chicago River North. This in-room technology gives guests the ability to navigate through all offered hotel guest services with the touch of a finger through touch screens located in each guest room. Like ICE Mobile, ICE Touch offers guests the convenience of accessing hotel services and information all through a user friendly guest interface. The Ambassador East Hotel will also introduce in-room technology through ICE TV which utilizes the guest television to provide instant access to all of the hotel’s services. “Chicago is home to breathtaking architecture and world famous attractions drawing visitors from around the world,” said David Adelson, CEO, Intelity. “It is no wonder that the city’s hoteliers are introducing innovative technology that provides their guests with a better hotel experience and allows them to explore the iconic city in a new way.” ICE not only brings state-of-the-art technology to the guest, but also fully integrates into the hotel’s POS and PMS systems opening the door for more opportunities to grow revenue and increase efficiency for the hotel. On average, hotels report an 80 percent increase in staff efficiency while being able to practically eliminate in-room collateral printing costs. With five different versions, hotels can pick the ones that are most suited for their needs. These include ICE Touch (in-room iPads and touch screens); ICE Mobile (guest smartphones); ICE TV (in-room TVs); ICE Lobby (touch screens) and ICE Connect (guest laptops).
