Yikes launches innovative solution at HITEC

Wireless proximity-based solution promises to enhance guest experience

Macatawa, MI and Austin, TX – June 21, 2011 - After 15 months of stealth product development, Yikes unveils its awaited wireless proximity-based guestroom access control solution, yLINK, at the world’s largest hospitality technology expo HITEC. The yLINK utilizes wireless and proximity-based technologies to allow hotel guests to bypass the front desk and securely access their guestroom without the need of a key. This solution will also serve as the platform for delivering future applications such as proximity-based advertising and energy management features. Thanks to Yikes’ expanding ecosystem and the ultimate zone controller, hoteliers will soon be able to effectively deliver meaningful information and advertisement to the guest’s mobile device based on the guest’s profile and location within the hotel.

“We are very excited to launch yLINK, our proximity-based access solution for the hospitality industry. We believe yLINK and its future expansion applications will soon revolutionize the guest experience and provide hoteliers a vehicle for connecting with their guests in a meaningful and non-intrusive manner. We look forward to redefining the guest experience with our partners.” said Yikes President and CEO Ben Robertson.

This exciting solution will be available for private showing at HITEC at the Yikes’ booth #543. If you are a hotelier that seeks to deliver innovative solutions, you will not want to miss this by-invitation only product launch.
