Uniguest Unveils New Products to Enhance Traveler
Convenience and Connectivity

Four New Solutions at 2011 HITEC Conference in Austin

The new products, Concierge Station 2, Secured Advantage Duo, the iPad Boarding Pass Printing Station and Flight Board 2, were launched at the 2011 HITEC Conference in Austin, Tx.

Uniguest’s Concierge Station 2 expands on the company’s two decades of experience delivering local information to travelers. Available in 23- and 42-inch touchscreen kiosks, the elegant, touch-friendly interface allows hotel guests to quickly view weather and headlines and find local events, attractions, restaurants and shopping. Information (including directions) can be easily printed, emailed or texted to a mobile phone.

Concierge Station 2 can be customized to prominently feature hotel dining, services and amenities. The Concierge Station 2 is available for direct purchase now. Similar to Uniguest’s traditional printed products, hotels can offset some or all costs through local ad sales.

Secured Advantage Duo is the latest addition to Uniguest’s already comprehensive suite of solutions for business center and lobby computers. It offers both Mac and PC users a secure, familiar computing environment on a single, sleek 21-inch iMac computer. Guests can seamlessly switch between Microsoft’s Windows 7 and Apple’s OS X operating systems in mere seconds without rebooting. Secured Advantage Duo includes Microsoft Office (Windows and OS X) and iWorks (OS X only) productivity suites, and offers a customizable user interface in more than 20 languages. Secured Advantage Duo offers Uniguest’s signature security, privacy and remote management features which already protect thousands of hotels around the world.

The Uniguest iPad Boarding Pass Printing Station is a custom kiosk which physically secures two Apple iPads and an HP laser printer in the space normally needed for one PC-based kiosk. It offers travelers an intuitive touch interface to conveniently print a boarding pass before leaving for the airport. The compact design allows two guest stations to occupy the same space as one PC-based kiosk. Wireless printing reduces the need for messy cables. Hotels can customize logos, colors and even control the featured airlines. Secured Advantage Tablet software locks iPads for safe, private use and clears all personal information between sessions.

Flight Board 2 displays the most accurate flight data available in a simple, easy to read format. Advanced features such as code sharing and data catching compliment elegant design touches such as destination weather forecasts and optional news headlines. Flight Board 2 works with both digital signs in hotel lobbies or televisions in guest rooms. The product can be purchased as part of a plug-n-play bundle that can be used with an existing digital display.
