FRANCISCO (June 1, 2011) – Pan
Pacific Hotels Group, a leading hospitality company in Asia, has
announced the
appointment of Scott Sutliff to the position of manager, global sales
for North
America. In his new role, Sutliff will be responsible for
maintaining
current relationships and increasing corporate business throughout
North America. The announcement comes as
the
company is poised to launch an aggressive expansion program in
North America. Currently, Pan Pacific has
four
luxury hotels in North America: in
Seattle,
Washington in the
U.S.;
and in Whistler (two properties) and
Vancouver, British Columbia,
Canada.

cities such
as New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Scott
will play
an integral role in the next phase of expansion for the brand in
North America.”
In his most recent role as the
director of business travel sales with Omni San Francisco, Sutliff was
the
first sales manager on property to reach the level of President’s
Circle
status, an achievement he was able to repeat for four consecutive
years.
Prior to Omni San Francisco, Sutliff worked with other prestigious
hospitality
brands, including Starwood, Marriott and Ritz-Carlton. He
attended
Michigan State
University and received
his Bachelor
of Arts degree from the
College
of Business with
an
emphasis in Hotel Management.
