Named Sales Leader of the Year for 2010 by Wyndham Hotels and Resorts



GLEN ALLEN, Va. (June 2, 2011) – The Wyndham Virginia Crossings Hotel & Conference Center today announced that Director of Sales and Marketing Peter Regan has been named Sales Leader of the Year for 2010 by the Wyndham Hotels and Resorts® upscale hotel chain.

A two-year employee of the hotel, Regan was awarded the honor across the brand as a result of his exemplary leadership, consistently outstanding sales results and ability to go above and beyond to develop and maintain key client relationships that help drive business. Among the year’s many accomplishments, Regan and his team increased the hotel’s occupancy by 12 points and room revenues by over 10 percent. Year over year booking pace showed a dramatic 18 percent improvement as well. Regan was also integral in Wyndham Virginia Crossings being named the brand’s top hotel worldwide for service excellence in 2010.
