Kerzner International Appoints Dianna Upton as Director
of Sales - Africa, Middle East and Indian Ocean

June 27, 2011 - Kerzner International is pleased to announce the appointment of Dianna Upton as Director of Sales - Africa, Middle East and Indian Ocean.  In her new role, Upton will be responsible for sales in the United States for Kerzner properties in Africa, Middle East and Indian Ocean including One&Only Cape Town, One&Only Le Saint Geran, One&Only Royal Mirage, One&Only The Palm, One&Only Reethi Rah, Mazagan Beach Resort in Morocco and Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai.  She will be based out of the Plantation, Florida sales office and will report directly to Lisa Bovio, VP of International Sales for Kerzner.

“Dianna has over 22 years of luxury travel experience, and we are excited for her to bring her knowledge and expertise to the Kerzner team,” says Bovio. “Dianna’s combination of dedication to creating world-class service experiences with her inherent leadership qualities, make her an ideal fit for our brand.”

Prior to this appointment, Upton served as Director of Sales for Cox & Kings for 10 years, where she was responsible for cultivating new relationships while maintaining existing strategic travel agency relationships and developing and promoting brand awareness within North and South America.  Upton also worked at Abercrombie & Kent for over 12 years where she oversaw and managed an Operations team of over 15 staff members.
